Lehman Will Deliver Trading Apps On Revamped Intranet

Lehman Brothers has revamped its two-year-old intranet, which connects 7,700 global employees, including 500 traders, sales and research staff. The re-launch of the intranet coincides with the launch of Lehman's site on the World Wide Web on November 22. The firm uses its intranet to deliver proprietary trading applications to various business units, among other things.

According to a Lehman spokesperson, the intranet will offer home pages for all of Lehman's business units, such as fixed-income
