The main reason Kevin Parker gives for leaving his role as global chief information officer (CIO) and a partner of Morgan Stanley & Co. to join Deutsche Morgan Grenfell is quite simple: an exciting opportunity at an investment banking and brokerage firm that Parker predicts will be one of the top tier players in the 21st Century.

Parker resigned from the top IT post at Morgan Stanley last month (TST, June 23), to become managing director and global head of equities trading for DMG.
