New IBJ Securities Unit First With Kapitis Fist In Japanese

Industrial Bank of Japan will go live this month with a so- called international version of Kapiti PLC's FIST local data distribution system in support of 66 traders at the bank's new securities operation in Tokyo. The international version of FIST, developed by Kapiti for the IBJ deal, will allow traders at IBJ Securities Co. to display data, read messages and create reports in Kanji, Katakana and Hiragana -- the three alphabets used to express the Japanese language.
