DAIWA AMERICA GOES LIVE WITH CATS MODULES

Daiwa America, the North American subsidiary of Daiwa Securities, will be going live on November 1 with several Cats Software derivatives trading modules that will be running against a Compaq Computer server and Microsoft's Windows NT.

Daiwa recently purchased the Cats swaps, options, caps, strikes, global risk management and general ledger modules, say Daiwa officials. The modules will run against a Compaq 2500, dual-Pentium, symmetric multiprocessing
