FIX Study: European Firms Wait for Buy Side

LONDON--Sell-side firms driving the usage of the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol are being frustrated by the slow buy-side adoption of the connectivity protocol. The lag, which stems from the down economy, is holding back growth of buy-to-sell-side electronic trading, according to new research.
