The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK) announced that it has implemented a series of fixes designed to prevent repetition of a computer error that generated a false market crash at the opening of the exchange's December 12 trading session. The software bug resulted in incorrect previous-day closing stock prices incorporated within the benchmark Hang Seng Index, and price data that showed the index falsely falling precipitously.
