Citisystems' CS Pipeline Links CICS And Stratus
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
There's good news for Wall Street systems people who want their IBM CICS applications to talk to Stratus applications, or vice versa. Citisystems Inc, a New York-based software development house, has written CS/Pipeline, a generic interface offering transparent access to either system from either side of the connection. CS/Pipeline can also be used as a migration tool for rewriting CICS applications to Stratus.
CICS -- customer information control system -- is IBM's online transaction processing
