Gates Declares TIB Back-End To Become NT Server Compliant With Help From HP

LONDON--None other than Bill Gates, the founder, chairman and CEO of Microsoft, announced that Tibco, with help from Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard (HP), will be porting the back end of The Information Bus (TIB) market data delivery system to Microsoft's Windows NT Server.
Gates made his announcement last week at the Financial Markets Summit '98 conference in London.
The goal of the effort is to help boost Microsoft's presence in the securities industry, especially Microsoft's Component Object
