After four months of poking around, Bankers Trust Co. has asked Reuters and Teknekron Software Systems Inc. to remove trial installations of their data distribution and workstation software systems. The bank had been looking to see how the vendors' software stacked up against its internally developed Broadgate Information Distribution and Display System, known as Bidds.
The evaluations were intended as a possible prelude to the dissemination of a request for proposal for a data distribution
