In the Sept. 23 issue of TTW, it was reported that Harborside+ was created by Jefferies & Co., and that the latter announced earlier this year it was reintroducing the trading service. Harborside+ is completely independent and neutral of Jefferies. There is no connection between Harborside+ and the Jefferies Group trading desk. IOI information stored in Harborside+ is not exposed to Jefferies. Harborside+ is not housed within Jefferies, and Jefferies is not represented on Harborside+’s
