SIA May Create Carrier To Cut Telecom Costs

The Technology Management Committee (TMC) of the Securities Industry Association (SIA) is investigating the feasibility of creating its own telephone company and becoming a competitor of Nynex, says John Faccibene, a committee member who took part in an exclusive Waters roundtable discussion.
