JEFFERIES PICKS WILCO FOR OUTSOURCING

Jefferies & Co has signed on to have Wilco International's Gloss STP Bureau process international bond and equity trades made by its desks in New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Zurich. Until the service goes live in a few months Jefferies will continue to use the Gloss settlement systems it licenses now in New York and London. Jefferies says the STP Bureau is a cost-effective way of centralizing its IT infrastructure to minimize costs while guaranteeing
