Securities Firm Consortium Beta Tests Straight-Through Brokerage System

Comprehensive Software Systems, a financial systems developer set up and owned by a consortium of securities firms, has developed a full-function brokerage system based entirely on off-the-shelf Microsoft software components.
CSS will offer both a PC workstation and a browser-based version of the brokerage system. Between them they rely on a number of Microsoft products, including Windows NT Server and NT Workstation, Windows 95, SQL Server, Visual Basic and Visual C++, Exchange, the Office suite
