The current push by Reuters to migrate its Triarch and TIB user base to the Reuter Market Data System (RMDS) platform is providing both problems and opportunities for Reuters’ customers.
According to Reuters, RMDS combines the best of Triarch with the best of TIB, yielding an architecture that has the RRDP Triarch component as the "backbone" and RV--the Tibco Rendezvous middleware component--as the client distribution layer
