It’s clear that Sun is facing stiff competition from a growing roster of Intel-Linux server providers.

Sun’s services and software partners such as Reuters, SunGard and Moneyline Telerate--just to mention three--have given the nod to Linux. Others are following such as Wall Street Systems, which is making its flagship treasury engine available for Linux, with delivery expected for next month.
