UBS Streams Option Prices Via RTTP

CONNECTIVITY

NEW YORK--UBS is using real-time transport technology from Caplin Systems to stream options prices to its clients.

The investment bank initially took Caplin’s Real Time Text Protocol (RTTP) technology to send real time prices to its employees, but UBS expanded the service to more than 500 external clients, say Caplin officials. The RTTP technology provides Web delivery capabilities that replace telephone and faxing chores.
