DP Gets Into Trading Systems Again VIA Multex Acquisition

Trading systems integrators have seen better days, but this doesn't inhibit Automatic Data Processing, Inc. In a move ADP calls "upmarket" from its traditional retail business, the company's Brokerage Information Services Group has acquired most of the assets of Multex, Inc., a small New York-based systems house with particular expertise in MS-Windows and OS/2 trading applications.
While it is not at all unusual for ADP to buy companies in order to acquire market share, it isn't known for buying
