ComSec to Get Off the Execution Bus

LONDON--Commerzbank Securities (ComSec) is globally replacing its internally developed business-to-customer equities platform, the Execution Bus, with the Fidessa trading platform from Royalblue as part of an initiative of the brokerage’s German parent, Commerzbank, to drive down IT costs.
Fidessa--minus the order routing functions which were handled by the Execution Bus--is already in place as the bank’s core cash equities brokerage trading system. The software has been used since September 2000
