PRU Pilots Reuters, Micrognosis For More Than 600 In New York

In an effort to select systems to support a planned 600 plus-position trading room, Prudential Securities Inc. is piloting digital data distribution platforms from Micrognosis Inc. and Reuters at its New York office.
The firm selected the two finalists following evaluations of a total of five contenders. In addition to Micrognosis and Reuters, Prudential also took a look at FD Consulting Inc., Teknekron Software Systems Inc. and Dow Jones Telerate's Telerate Trading Room Systems.
