Kidder Will Use SIS's OMS For Electronic Order-Routing

Kidder Peabody & Co. is installing Securities Industry Software Inc.'s Order Management System to provide branch offices with electronic order-routing facilities. The system is expected to be implemented at up to 75 regional Kidder offices.
The system host, a Tandem Computer Inc. four-processor VLX computer, will supplant Automatic Data Processing Inc.'s DNS service bureau, which currently handles Kidder's order-routing and reporting. In January, Kidder will begin implementing the system, which
