Reuters' Teknekron Software Systems Inc. has been handed what may be a pivotal setback in its legal fight with Isis Distributed Systems Inc. Following the filing of the suit by Teknekron, and a countersuit by Isis, a civil court asked the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) to reexamine the patent protecting a disputed component of the Teknekron Information Bus (TST, Feb. 20).
