Caboto Uses Xalert Event Detection Software for Risk Management

LONDON--Caboto Bank in London, the capital markets unit of Italian Banca Intesa banking group, has taken the Xalert 5.0 event detection and monitoring software from Catagoric Software to monitor and alert counterparty risk.
Xalert sits on top of the Lighthouse treasury trading and risk management system from London-based Rolfe & Nolan and pulls limits out of user-customized spreadsheets. It is timed to run every half hour at Caboto. Xalert figures out the risk factor for each counterparty
