Groups Push FIX, FpML Convergence

NEW YORK--Officials from the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), overseer of the FpML standard, say they are redoubling their efforts for more ubiquitous FpML-and-FIX interoperability. At the same time as it increases harmonization with FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL), ISDA is also engaging in similar efforts with the Inernational Standards Organization (ISO).

The move follows FPL’s previous agreement of cooperation with the Futures Industry Association (FIA) (TTW, Aug. 4).
