If the nation's options exchanges want the SEC to put off lifting its ban on multiple trading of options on listed equities, they should bring a detailed plan for a state-of- the-art market integration facility into the September 29th hearing on the issue. Otherwise, they should prepare for multiple trading without a network connecting the options markets.
This is the conclusion of industry observers who believe the Commission is determined to let more than one exchange list the same options
