GSTPA SELECTS FINAL FOUR FOR TFM DEAL

The Global Straight Through Processing Alliance (GSTPA) has named the four finalists, each a consortium of companies, that will vie for the contract to build a Transaction Flow Manager (TFM). The GSTPA hopes the TFM will set an industrywide standard for seamless, end-to-end trading, from transaction to settlement. The race has been narrowed to include: CSC with Sun Microsystems, DST Systems and British Telecom's Syntegra unit; IBM working alongside Reuters
