BNP Pioneers Structured Products System

LONDON—BNP Paribas has begun the global rollout of an electronic trading platform for structured products, dubbed CredIM, to the bank's fixed-income institutional sales force.

Approximately 700 screens have been deployed, and once clients begin to use the system next January, an additional 1,000 screens could potentially be rolled out, officials say. The bank also aims to open the platform to clients by the beginning of next year.
