JP Morgan Moves to .Net for FIX

LONDON--JP Morgan in London has opted to use Microsoft’s .Net development framework and a .Net-based FIX engine for its nascent automated trading platform, taking yet another step away from Java, officials confirmed last week.

Dubbed the New Equities Auto-Trader (NEAT), the automated equity trading platform has been handling order flow from clients since January, according to bank and vendor officials. NEAT went live at the bank after a development period of only three months, and is being used
