STOCKHOLM--Scandinavian banking group Nordea is making changes to its internal structure and shedding staff in a bid to become more efficient with its IT and remain competitive during a down economy.
Nordea is creating a new Group Processing and Technology unit, consolidating the IT resources currently split among business lines to speed up group-wide IT integration projects and free up resources from the different business areas. The unit will incorporate Nordea’s group IT, electronic banking
