Nasdaq Embraces Instinet; Shuffles Systems, Execs

NEW YORK--The pace of change set by Robert Greifeld, CEO of the Nasdaq Stock Market, showed no sign of flagging last week.

In short order, Nasdaq officials announced new cooperative technology agreements with rival Instinet Group, made a change in the market’s listed-stock access technology and shuffled executives again. The personnel and technology changes appear to be related, and may signal Nasdaq’s new willingness to augment its technology with third-party offerings.
