Mobil Oil Corp. is finishing its phased, worldwide rollout of a cross-platform energy trading and accounting system--called Tib Energy--developed in conjunction with Tibco Inc. The rollout comes to a close some two and a half years after the ink dried on the contract between Mobil and the company that used to be known as Teknekron Software Systems Inc. (TST, Sept. 30, 1993). The system will support over 200 users--as opposed to an estimated 600 users at the time of the signing--including some 40
