Amex Pilots Quick Trade In New Trading Facility
The American Stock Exchange has replaced the mark-sense cards used to report options trades with touch-screen terminals on its new trading floor at 22 Thames Street.
During the pilot period for the Quick Trade screens, mark-sense cards will be used as a backup, but they will eventually be eliminated entirely, says Mark Smith, vice president for technology.
Quick Trade also will be expanded to the stocks being traded in the new space.
The $6.5 million
