Alliance Capital Looks Inward For Answer To Straight-Through Processing

NEW YORK--Several high-profile industry associations, including the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol Organization and the recently formed Global Straight Through Processing Association (GSTPA), are actively promoting industry-wide adoption of straight-through processing. But ultimately, the success of this model for securities trading will have to come from practical steps adopted by individual money managers and brokers.
