EJV Nabs Salomon's Gertler; Yield Book Analytics To Follow?

Building a foundation of fixed-income analytics expertise, EJV Partners L.P. has hired Salomon Brothers Inc.'s David Gertler as a senior development executive. As director of research at Salomon Brothers, Gertler played a part in the development of Yield Book, an as-yet unreleased fixed-income analytics package that could very well end up on the EJV's menu of systems offerings.

D. Bruce Peterson, president of the EJV, has said on several occasions that the EJV would not be developing analytics
