Eurex U.S. Boosts Volumes by 700%

LONDON—Eurex US officials say that they have boosted trading volumes on the troubled futures exchange by 700 percent because of the appeal of its revenue-sharing and fee-cutting initiatives.

Already this month, daily average volumes have jumped to "23,922 contracts, up from 2,768 contracts in June, with open interest rising to 48,470 contracts, up from 23,505 the previous Friday," according to Eurex US officials.
