KBC Deploys 'Evolutionary' Platform

LONDON--Belgian banking group KBC recently signed Codefarm to provide "evolutionary computing" solutions for its financial products division.
The bank began working with the vendor last August to perform a short evaluation project that led to the integration of KBC’s pricing model and Codefarm’s Galapagos workbench, officials say. The bank is using the workbench for convertibles, equity and credit derivatives.
