ING to slash data costs in outsourcing deal
Amsterdam - Dutch banking giant ING Group will outsource its global reference data management to Capco Reference Data Services (CRDS) in the hopes of reducing its data management costs by 30 percent.
As part of the seven-year deal, CRDS will integrate ING's proprietary security master file (SMF) into CRDS's managed services platform. SMF was designed to address the data distribution requirements for downstream applications by allowing users to subscribe to those securities that are of interest
