IPC Upgrades Toronto PoP
The upgrade, which went into production at the end of March, is part of IPC's global upgrade program for its core network infrastructure, says Dave Brown, senior vice president, global network operations, IPC Systems. The benefits of the upgrade include sub-12 millisecond latency and rapid service delivery, he adds. The upgrade also extends IPC's ECS to exchanges, alternative trading systems (ATSes) and counterparty firms in Canada.
The upgraded Toronto PoP allows IPC to offer enhanced voice
