Caplin Sweetens Apple
UK-based streaming data software vendor Caplin Systems has released a version of its Streamlink API suite featuring support for Apple iPhone and iPad touch-screen devices. Streamlink is a series of interfaces between Caplin's Liberator data distribution server and front-end displays and consuming applications. Officials say the Apple support reflects that iPhones and iPads are "rapidly gaining traction in institutional finance," as firms look to provide more convenient access to data and trading
