Chi-East Completes Deployment

Trading went live on pan-Asian trading venue Chi-East two months ago, and now officials say they have completed the rollout of their non-displayed trading platform for securities listed in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.

The initial participants of the joint venture between the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and block-crossing venue operator Chi-X Global—Instinet, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Nomura and UBS—have successfully matched trades on the new platform.

Chi-East supports 3,264 securities
