Thomson Reuters is set to add end-to-end liquidity pool support to its Elektron cloud service over the next 12 to 15 months, according to vendor officials.

Between 70 and 100 exchanges globally will need to upgrade their systems following the implementation of the review of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid II) in Europe. Thomson Reuters can serve this community by providing the necessary hosted infrastructure, says Ralf Roth, global head of Elektron transactions and strategy
