Mellanox Cuts VMA Messaging Latency
Networking IT provider Mellanox Technologies will this week release a new version of its VMA messaging accelerator software, featuring improved latency and increased throughput to support the speed and capacity requirements of market data messaging layers required for high-frequency trading.
Mellanox targets VMA at the high-frequency trading community, including exchanges that deploy it on servers for publishing market data, as well as investment banks, hedge funds and proprietary trading firms
