IPC Connects to Koscom Busan Facility
Network and trading turret provider IPC has added access to Korea Exchange (KRX) technology subsidiary Koscom's Busan, Korea datacenter to both its Connexus financial extranet and its Direct Connect Ethernet data network, in response to demand for market data and trading access to KRX's derivatives market.
IPC connected to telecoms provider LG Dacom's Seoul facility -- which houses KRX's cash markets -- last year (IMD, Feb. 14, 2011), and following the exchange's migration of the matching engine
