Equinix, KVH Add Singapore Datacenters to Asia-Pac Presence

Datacenter and hosting providers Equinix and KVH have both announced new datacenters in Singapore to increase their hosting capabilities to serve the country's financial center and meet increasing local demand.

Redwood City, Calif.-based Equinix broke ground on its third IBX (International Business Exchange) facility in Singapore Thursday, April 18, and plans to open the center in the second half of 2014. The new datacenter, dubbed SG3, is located close to -- and, via a dedicated fiber network
