Nomura AM Expands Charles River Implementation
Nomura, a client of Charles River since 2008, will use the single solution for integrated equity portfolio management, trading, and real-time compliance monitoring.
"Charles River IMS is a scalable, multi-asset, multi-currency solution that consolidates numerous systems at Nomura into a global platform," said Masanao Tsuda, senior managing director, IT strategy and management at Nomura Asset Management. "It is a strategic choice to use the Charles River front-office solution globally, giving us the confidence to meet our regulatory audit requirements across the entire trade lifecycle."
Nomura AM is one of 25 Charles River clients in Japan, while expansionary projects have become more commonplace for its universal banking clients globally in recent months, as well, with Saudi Arabia's NCB Capital currently completing a similar move.
