Panel Scrutinizes Trading Algos and Visualization Tools in FX Market
A surprisingly high number of foreign-exchange (FX) traders use algorithms, according to a survey of 147 such traders by Silicon Valley software giant, Tibco Software. Of the 47 percent who do so, 81 percent of them use at least some algos designed in-house. But a Tibco-sponsored panel discussing the survey results warned against taking the numbers at face value.
