ITG Releases Posit Marketplace 3.0 Dark Pool Algorithm
Posit Marketplace 3.0, which can be used through ITG's Triton execution management system (EMS) or by a FIX connection to ITG from a third-party trading system, was developed to increase fill rates in dark pools while avoiding toxic liquidity.
According to Jeff Bacidore, ITG's head of algorithmic trading, Posit Marketplace 3.0 took well over a year to research, implement and test, as the algorithm was essentially built from the ground up.
