Exablaze Grows Low-Latency Data Switch Family
Previously, Exablaze did not support sending data in both directions, so clients would need a second switch─likely from Cisco or Arista─to send orders to exchanges.
Matthew Chapman, chief technology officer of Exablaze, says the new switch provides the same sub-five nanosecond latency as the vendor's existing switches for Layer 1 switching─which comprises direct physical connections for data copying and fan-out─but also adds capabilities for Level 2 and Level 1.5 switching at 110 and 100
