OptionsCity Rolls Out New Cloud-based Futures, Options Trading Platform
The platform uses AWS for its cloud.
The trading platform, dubbed CityTrader, allows for custom-spread building and request-for-quotes (RFQs). The release also includes City API, a REST-based API that accesses futures and options-on-futures market data and analytics.
Hazem Dawani, OptionsCity's CEO, tells WatersTechnology that CityTrader is geared toward active traders who are not latency sensitive but use futures and options on futures to hedge or intiate positions. CityTrader is hosted by Amazon Web Services. It adds to
