By the end of the year, three things will hopefully have happened. The evil that is the Los Angeles Dodgers will be defeated, Lebron James will be playing for the Miami Heat once again, and overnight trading in US equity markets will be in full swing.

While those first two may be only wishful thinking from yours truly, the third is almost certain. The equity data plans (or the securities information processors, if we want to get technical) are expected to extend their hours on or around December
