What's Project Redux? Part Of Reuters' Effort To Vie With Bloomberg, That's What


To help in its efforts to compete directly with Bloomberg L.P., Reuters has quietly been developing the so-called Project Redux--a distribution platform for its proprietary and third-party historical and fundamental data, as well as analytics. Project Redux--which will expand the offerings of third-party contributors to Reuters' High Performance Shared Network (HPSN)--is currently being developed at Reuters' Palo Alto, Calif.-based Teknekron Software Systems Inc. subsidiary.
